Cardiology Financial Coordinator 40Hrs/Wk (8a-4:30p) Temple- Jeanes Campus

Responsibilities

• Ensures financial clearance and reimbursement for services provided to PH/PTE patients and other Cardiology patients as assigned.
• Reviews and validates summary reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Serves as an advocate in all matters related to the financial aspects of the Cardiology patients with a focus on PH and PTE.
• Acts as a liaison for providers as well as patients with insurance carriers.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience

• 2 years experience in healthcare billing (Preferred)
• General experience with IDX and SMS (Preferred)
• General experience with procedure and diagnosis coding (Preferred)
