About the role
We are seeking to add a well-trained Electrophysiologist to our Johnson City, Tennessee location. This team services Johnson City Medical Center and consists of 10 cardiologists, 3 cardiothoracic surgeons and 3 vascular surgeons. The Johnson City group is core to the leadership and overall function of the Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrophysiology procedures including ablations, implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, and other related procedures.
- Collaborate with other specialists in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in the field of electrophysiology.
- Teach and mentor fellows and residents in the department.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology.
- Current license to practice medicine in Tennessee.
- Experience in performing electrophysiology procedures.
