Cardiology Advanced Practitioner
About the Role
Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a new grad or experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology team in Corvallis, OR. This outpatient role offers a 4-day work week with 34 patient contact hours, 40-minute patient appointments, and dedicated time for charting during the workday. The position includes clinic hours and proctoring stress tests, with additional time allocated for inbox management.
Advanced Practitioners and Cardiologists work in paired care teams for optimal support. The team consists of 12 physicians, 10 APCs, and 6 cardiology fellows, with specialized services in heart failure, preventative cardiology, electrophysiology, structural, and interventional cardiology. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient cardiology care with 40-minute patient appointments.
- Proctor stress tests as part of clinic responsibilities.
- Manage inbox and administrative tasks during work hours.
- Collaborate within a paired care team model for patient support.
- Travel as required for role responsibilities.
Requirements
- Oregon Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License.
- Excellent clinical skills and strong communication abilities.

Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is a 188-bed facility in Corvallis, OR, serving as the region’s only hospital and a Level II trauma center.
