Cardiologist Is Wanted for Locums Assistance in Maryland

About the role

Outpatient and inpatient cardiology setting with general inpatient cardiology duties including Echo, stress test, and EKG. Supported by a mid-level provider. Schedule includes Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm plus weekend call, with two weeks per month of ongoing inpatient coverage, seeing approximately 12‑15 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide general inpatient cardiology care
• Perform echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKGs
• Manage inpatient cardiology service two weeks per month
• See 12‑15 patients per day in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Participate in weekend call as required

Requirements

• Experience in general inpatient cardiology
• Proficiency with Echo, stress test, and EKG

Skills

• TEE and nuclear imaging skills are a plus but not required

Pay

Hourly rate range: $250.00 – $350.00. Rates are all‑inclusive, combining base pay with potential earnings such as overtime, call, and holiday pay. The range is an estimate affected by position critical need, experience, qualifications, and other factors.
