Cardiac-Vascular Sonographer

Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular Team engaging in the conduct and performance of Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound/Doppler diagnostic testing. Assists the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support. Functions independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound/Doppler diagnostic testing.

Requirements

• Technical school certificate in Echocardiography or Ultrasound.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Ultrasound specializing in Cardiac and Vascular.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Either RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification.
• Either RVT (Registered Vascular Technician) or RVS (CCI Registered Vascular Specialist) certification, to be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 5 years of Ultrasound experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree (or equivalent).

Skills

• Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound/Doppler imaging.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS/RDCS).
• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Vascular Specialist (RVS).

Schedule

• Shift hours: 7:45 am – 4:15 pm (Shift 1 – Days).
• Weekend work: None.
• On‑call: No.
• Remote work: Never.
