Cardiac Transplant Nursing Assistant - Full-Time

Role Overview

The Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Their primary duties include assisting with bathing, hygiene, elimination, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning. The role supports patient safety and satisfaction through regular patient rounds and effective communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient cares as delegated
• Support patient safety and comfort
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from Missouri Division of Health and Human Services
