Cardiac Technician (Pacemaker/ICD), W2 Only - Remote

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Technician (Pacemaker/ICD) to support cardiac device data analysis, ECG interpretation, and annotation review initiatives in a remote environment. This position plays a critical role in reviewing implantable cardiac device data, identifying clinically relevant findings, and supporting advanced AI development through high-quality annotation and labeling activities.

Responsibilities

• Review cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) data for quality and accuracy
• Analyze pacemaker and ICD electrograms (EGMs) and ECG recordings
• Identify and classify normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms
• Evaluate device-generated diagnostic and therapeutic data
• Interpret 12-lead ECG findings and cardiac rhythm events
• Support detailed annotation review and validation activities
• Apply annotation labels accurately and consistently according to established protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting data quality and machine learning initiatives
• Evaluate and interpret ECG and EGM data for completeness, accuracy, and clinical relevance
• Identify and report discrepancies and escalate findings when appropriate
• Maintain adherence to quality standards and project requirements
• Deliver assigned annotation projects within established timelines
• Work closely with stakeholders involved in clinical data review and AI model development
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to project teams
• Support ongoing process optimization efforts

Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in: Cardiac Monitoring, ECG Interpretation, Rhythm Analysis, Pacemaker/ICD Monitoring, Implanted Device Data Review
• Minimum 1+ year of Pacemaker and/or ICD experience
• Minimum 1+ year of medical device or cardiac healthcare experience
• Experience reviewing implantable device EGM data
• Required Certifications: CCI Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) OR CCI Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT)
• Technical Skills: 12-Lead ECG Interpretation, ECG Analysis, EGM Analysis, Annotation Review, Data Annotation, Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation, Pacemaker Monitoring, ICD Monitoring, Clinical Data Review, Medical Device Data Analysis

Qualifications

• IBHRE Certification
• CCI RCES Certification
• 2-5 years of EGM Annotation Experience
• 2-5 years of ECG Annotation Experience
• Experience supporting AI or machine learning annotation projects
• Experience with implantable cardiac rhythm management devices
• Advanced cardiac electrophysiology knowledge
