The Department of Congenital Heart Surgery at Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a cardiac-trained surgeon with prior experience in congenital heart surgery for a one-year clinical faculty position. This position includes options to extend further based on ACGME fellow match.

Responsibilities

• Primarily involved as a first assist in surgery
• Provide clinical support as part of one of the busiest and highest-ranked Congenital Heart Surgery programs in the world
• Further knowledge of Congenital Heart Surgery and patient care management

Requirements

• United States Medical License or have completed all United States Medical License Exams prior to starting the position
• Full-time faculty member at the level of Instructor in the Department of Surgery, Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine
• Ability to apply and be granted a Texas medical license

• Experience in congenital heart surgery
• Cardiac training
