About the role

The Echocardiography Technologist performs professional-level cardiac ultrasound procedures on diverse patient populations, excluding pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being during procedures
• Accurately recognize abnormal structures to produce useful diagnostic studies
• Demonstrate competency in cardiovascular echocardiography
• Adapt techniques as needed
• Utilize ancillary devices such as various transducers

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in cardiovascular echocardiography techniques
• Ability to identify abnormalities and adjust procedures accordingly
• Competency in handling ancillary devices and transducers
• Knowledge of safety protocols and patient care standards
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
