About the role
The Cardiac Rehab Tech provides orientation and assessment to participants in the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs and assists in the development of individualized plans of care in collaboration with the Medical Directors.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates exercise sessions through patient charting, monitoring vital signs and EKGs
- Provides education and support to patients participating in the program
- Promotes a safe, supportive, and effective rehabilitation environment
- Helps patients achieve their individual health and wellness goals
Requirements
- Experience in a Cardiac Rehab setting is preferred but not required
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in the State of Vermont
