About the Role

The United Health Services Hospitals Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking an Imaging Cardiologist to join its growing Cardiology Imaging program. The program currently has one Imaging-trained Cardiologist and several additional reading physicians supporting a high-volume cardiac CT/MRI program. You will work alongside highly trained professionals dedicated to excellent quality cardiac care.

The Heart & Vascular Institute includes 12 cardiologists (3 interventionalists, 3 electrophysiologists, and 4 non-interventionalists), 13 cardiology NPs, 3 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 surgical PAs, and 2 CVICU NPs. UHS has a robust interventional cardiology department with excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology (must obtain Board Certification within two years of hire)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship program
• Expertise in MRI

Responsibilities

• Support a high-volume cardiac CT/MRI program
• Teaching opportunities within the Cardiology Fellowship (9 fellows total), as well as teaching residents and medical students through Upstate Medical University in Syracuse
• Participate in clinical research
