Seeking a Cardiac Diagnostic Lab Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a top-ranked hospital. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors.
• Maintain a safety-conscious approach, as the position is deemed safety-sensitive.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of cardiac or critical care experience.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Accepts ADNs under BSN completion agreement.

Schedule

• Three 10-hour shifts per week.
• Weekend and call responsibilities included.
