Compensation range: $97,760.00 - $131,976.00. Individual annual salaries will be determined by considering factors including market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity.

About the Role

In an inpatient setting, supports standards of care and provides consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. Participates in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future.

Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. Participates in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program, or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership.

The Holding Area Nurse Manager will provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership to a highly skilled team supporting patients throughout the pre- and post-procedure phases of care and will play an integral role in shaping the department's continued growth and development. This highly collaborative leadership position blends clinical excellence, operational leadership, financial stewardship, quality and safety, and staff development, while offering the opportunity to contribute to program growth and continuous improvement across the cardiovascular service line.

The Nurse Manager will partner closely with the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Nurse Managers, Assistant Nurse Managers, physicians, advanced practice providers, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient, high-quality, patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager will report to the Assistant Director of Nursing for the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab.

Responsibilities

• Support standards of care and provide consultation and expertise in patient care delivery.
• Engage in activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional levels to achieve goals.
• Provide expert patient care and serve as a resource within the unit and service.

Requirements

• Recent clinical experience in an Adult Cardiac Cath and/or EP Lab, Heart Center, Cardiac Care, or Critical Care preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred and required within 5 years.
• Prior leadership experience required.
