Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist- 4/10's/week ($20,000 Sign-on Bonus)

JOB SUMMARY

As an employee of Trinity Health System, it is the responsibility of this and all positions within the Hospital to support the mission and role of Trinity Health System. In addition, this position will actively support the Hospital's Strategic Plan in the areas of People, Service, Quality, Finance and Growth, in a team based environment.

About the role

The employee also performs all job duties in compliance with laws and regulation in the observance of accrediting agency standards. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, this staff member performs duties relative to the direct and indirect care of patients undergoing interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Suite.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a variety of highly sophisticated radiographic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Scrub with the internationalists
• Performs sheath removals achieving good hemostasis
• Participates in quality control monitoring and reporting
• Maintains inventory and equipment

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an A.M.A. approved Radiology Technology Program with current standing with the American Registry of Radiologist Technologists (ARRT) and current Ohio License; OR Graduate of an approved invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program with registered or registry eligible status in invasive cardiovascular technology. Must possess a current Ohio License
• Training and Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience in a full-service Cardiac Catheterization Lab preferred. Critical Care experience preferred.
