Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II - Full Time Day Shift - Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital

About the Role

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II assists in performing invasive testing and interventional procedures for detecting and treating heart and circulatory system conditions within Cardiac Catheter, CTO, and Structural Heart procedure rooms. Proficiency in monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing functions is required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography) or equivalent academic program and experience

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Radiology Technologist (ARRT) with Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI) certification
• Valid BCLS certification; ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire
