Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

About the role

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide expert patient care in a top-ranked hospital. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care activities, with a focus on cardiac procedures and critical care skills. The nurse will administer conscious sedation, monitor hemodynamic, neurologic, and respiratory responses, and advocate for patient needs throughout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Participating in patient safety, quality improvement, and professional development initiatives.
• Developing individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licensure: Active RN license.
• Experience: Prior critical care, emergency, or cardiac cath experience preferred; at least 2 years bedside experience recommended.
• Additional: Must reside within 30 minutes of hospital for call duties.
