Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse or Tech - Full Time

About the role

This role involves providing specialized cardiovascular care in a hospital's Cath Lab environment, either as a Registered Nurse or Radiology Technologist.

Responsibilities

For the Cath Lab Registered Nurse

• Deliver direct patient care to adult populations, addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs before, during, and after procedures.
• Assess patient condition, monitor during procedures, and administer moderate sedation under physician supervision.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient status.
• Perform patient admissions, recoveries, and discharges, including head-to-toe assessments and post-procedure evaluations.
• Provide compassionate care, respecting patient dignity and individual needs.

For the Cardiovascular Lab Radiological Technologist

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular radiology procedures following departmental standards.
• Ensure optimal patient care by exercising professional judgment and applying appropriate protocols.
• Assist in patient admission, recovery, and discharge processes.
• Reassess patient condition during procedures and provide necessary care to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Technologist role) or current Nevada RN license (Nurse role).
• Experience in radiology procedures or cath lab preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and POC license for nurses.
• Strong communication, assessment, and compassionate patient care skills.
