Full time, Day shift (Monday-Friday)
Pay
Pay Range: $34.71 - $64.55 per hour
Sign On Bonus: $15,000 for eligible applicants
Relocation Bonus: $3,000 for eligible applicants
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains quality assurance measures within the EP lab
- Ensures compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
- Provides direct patient care as needed
- Manages the daily operations of the Electrophysiology Lab Cardiology Department, including organizing, staffing, and supervising
- Coordinates with the Cath Lab Manager to meet the needs of both the EP lab and the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Oversees supplies and equipment related to the EP lab, including ordering and evaluating products necessary for service line maintenance and growth
- Works directly with EP physicians, cardiologists, and anesthesia to ensure physician satisfaction, patient experience, and efficient production within the EP lab
- Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes
- Facilitates ongoing training and development of EP staff
- Acts as a preceptor and role model for employees
- Maintains patient flow and workflow, demonstrating strong interdepartmental skills
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate degree (Required)
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath/EP/neurosciences/critical care, or interventional radiology (Preferred)
- 2+ years EP experience (Preferred)
- Ability to independently operate Stimulator for Electrophysiology patients
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) (Required)
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) (Required)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (Required) OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) (Required) OR Registered Nurse (RN) (Required)
- Basic EKG Certification (BEKG) (Preferred)
