About the role

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is excited to welcome a skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join their team. The cardiac program is the second busiest in the state of NC, with 1400 bypass surgeries annually, 300-400 lung cases, TAVR, LVAD, ECMO, and lots of valve procedures. The team enjoys the camaraderie of a smaller group and is a care team model where physicians supervise cardiac specialty CRNAs.

Responsibilities

• Part of a large, cohesive team of hospital employed professionals
• Will be part of a large, cohesive team of hospital employed professionals
• Will be board certified/eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology and have the ability to be licensed in NC
• Cardiac Fellowship trained physicians are highly preferred, but experienced but not fellowship trained candidates will be considered if they are boarded in advanced perioperative TEE
• Must be eligible to work in the US without restriction

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology
• Ability to be licensed in NC
