About the role

Suburban Maryland locations include central Maryland, Baltimore and within 25 minutes of the District of Columbia. Short drive to culture, metropolitan amenities, fine dining, professional sports, outdoor recreation activities and more. An established private group is hiring an experienced fellowship‑trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist. Schedule averages 50‑55 hours per week. Work in hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. No trauma and no airway coverage. Perform approximately 90% of your own cases. About 300 open‑heart procedures are performed annually. TAVR, MitraClip and Watchman cases are covered exclusively by cardiac anesthesiology. Cardiac anesthesiologists are also requested for complex cardiac patients undergoing non‑cardiac surgery (vascular/thoracic, atrial fibrillation ablations, transeptal procedures, etc.). Director path available. Non‑partner options with no‑call package.

Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 90% of your own cardiac anesthesia cases.
• Provide anesthesia for about 300 open‑heart procedures annually.
• Cover TAVR, MitraClip and Watchman cases exclusively.
• Provide anesthesia for complex cardiac patients undergoing non‑cardiac surgery (vascular/thoracic, atrial fibrillation ablations, transeptal procedures, etc.).

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training in cardiac anesthesia.
• Medical Doctor (MD) degree.
• Current US work visa (with or without US residency).

Pay

Base salary up to $575,000.
