Basic Function

Manipulate boards from conveyors to carts to create lumber packages in various stages of production.

Responsibilities

• Safely move boards from conveyors to carts
• Create lumber packages according to operating specifications
• Secure lumber using various types of banding as needed
• Push carts (when filled and empty) to locations for fork truck pick up
• Record package details on both paper forms and computer
• Clean area when other lumber duties are absent
• Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Light Duty
• Be able to climb, squat, stoop and twist while maneuvering lumber
• Be able to repetitively lift, push and pull 10-80 pounds
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time

• Blood Borne Pathogens — One time
• Hazard Communication — One time
• Lock Out/Tag Out — One time
• Hearing Protection — Annually
