Carbon Fiber Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Carbon Fiber Technician to provide project support in a lab environment. This role focuses on the creation and prototyping of carbon fiber plates for integration into future products. The position requires a hands-on individual who can work effectively in a dynamic setting and manage multiple tasks concurrently. This is an on-site role requiring five days a week during typical business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the fabrication of carbon fiber plates for product prototypes.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as presses and vacuum systems.
  • Support project work related to prototyping and testing of composite materials.
  • Work within a lab or manufacturing environment to meet project timelines.
  • Contribute to the development process for future products.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility or laboratory setting is required.
  • Candidates must have an understanding of or experience with carbon fiber, composite materials, and related processes.
  • Experience with presses and vacuum systems is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with ambiguity.
  • Effective multitasking skills.

The pay for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.
