Car Washer/Service Porter- Lexus of Santa Fe

Lexus of Santa Fe, part of Group 1 Automotive—a Fortune 250 leader in global automotive retail—is seeking a Car Washer/Service Porter to join our team. Responsibilities

• Meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a great attitude with a high-energy personality and superior customer service skills.
• Thoroughly clean vehicles inside and out, including installing trim or cosmetic items as needed.
• Notify appropriate personnel when vehicles are ready for delivery.
• Report any safety issues or vehicle damage immediately to management.
• Assist with check-in, labeling, storage, and dispensing of detailing supplies.
• Drive dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in the service area lot and to the service area for customer pickup.
• Perform general cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
• Maintain lot order, including keeping new and used vehicle lots neat and organized.
• Provide transportation for customers as needed.
• Remain alert to traffic flow in service lots and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Immediately report any accidents to a manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.

Requirements

• Ability to operate both standard and automotive vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and a good driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, and drug testing.
