Car Wash Attendant

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain wash options.
• Stand at pay stations and assist every customer.
• Field customer inquiries.
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Perform cleaning tasks: take out garbage, sweep lot, use pressure washer to clean wash bay.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Report to work on time and follow dress and appearance code.
• Duty breakdown: 70% Customer Interaction, 20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining), 5% Opening/Closing Procedures, 5% Basic/Light Troubleshooting of Daily Duties.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Proficient computer skills with ability to learn a point‑of‑sales system.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
• Customer service and some sales experience preferred.
• Physical demands: frequently stand and walk; use hands/reach; climb/balance; stoop, crouch, kneel; work in damp/humid and outdoor variable weather; lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs; exposed to noise.
• Ability to work safely following SOPs, wear required PPE (hearing, eye, foot, hand protection) per OSHA guidelines.
• Capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
