Car Wash Associate - El Cajon

About the Role

As a Car Wash Associate, you'll be responsible for preparing, guiding, and loading vehicles into the tunnel, as well as ensuring that the location is equipped with clean towels and that all equipment is functioning properly while providing excellent customer experience. This role requires a keen ability to anticipate customer needs, build lasting relationships, and maintain a strong focus on safety. Note: This role involves spending the majority of the time outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles with bug spray while guiding them into the wash tunnel
• Complete tasks associated with location cleanliness such as sweeping, replenishing, mopping, cleaning, and/or minor landscaping work as directed by leadership
• Assist customers with any request to enhance their experience
• Exceed customer expectations by being friendly and handling vehicles with extreme care

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility: Willingness to work outside and adapt to various weather conditions
• Schedule: Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Outdoor and indoor settings: primarily work outdoors
• Weather conditions: exposure to heat, cold, rain, and wind
• Noise levels: moderate to high noise levels from equipment and vehicles
• Team collaboration: frequent interaction and collaboration with colleagues and customers

Pay

$18.25 – $18.75 per hour, depending on relevant experience and geographic location.
