Car Sales Auto Detailer- Iselin NJ

About the role

This position is a part-time Automotive Detailer role at Enterprise Mobility, located at 449 State Hwy 27 Iselin, NJ 08830. The starting hourly rate is $17.50 and employees can earn merit increases based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Polish, wax, and buff the exterior of vehicles, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
• Vacuum the interior, floor, seats, ashtray, and trunk.
• Shampoo and clean carpets, floor mats, and upholstery.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• May use detail methods such as wet sand and clay bar.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Apply engine degreaser application to the engine.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform and personal protective equipment requirements while adhering to local environmental regulations.
• Work outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment.

Qualifications

• The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted US driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment-based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location.
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
