Car Rental Agent

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a professional and friendly attitude.
• Aid customers with rental reservations, vehicle selection, and rental agreements.
• Verify driver’s licenses, insurance information, and rental qualifications.
• Explain rental terms, optional products, and company policies.
• Process payments, contracts, and vehicle returns accurately.
• Cook up vehicle availability with the operations team.
• Answer customer questions by phone and in person.
• Maintain accurate records using computer systems.
• Help ensure vehicles are clean, detailed, and ready and available for customers.
• Perform other customer service and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Requirements

• Must work weekends.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (where permitted by law).

Pay

Salary Description: $19/hr. plus incentives.
