Car Delivery Driver

What You’ll Do

• Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile
• Ensure every order arrives warm, complete, and ready to impress
• Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices
• Welcome guests in the bakery and provide friendly service between deliveries
• Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders
• Operate the register and process guest transactions
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe
• Work closely with your bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately
• Create the kind of guest experience that keeps people coming back

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements
• Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Regularly requires the ability to: Drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift
• Frequently enter and exit a vehicle
• Stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery
• Lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds
• Sometimes lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products
• Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership

Work Environment

• Inside the bakery, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels
• Outside the bakery, you'll drive in varying weather and traffic conditions while following all safety policies and traffic laws

Schedule Expectations

• Our busiest times are evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Delivery Drivers should have availability during these peak business hours
• Scheduling needs vary by location
