Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospecting, networking, and cold-calling to find new clients.
- Assessing client risks and customizing insurance programs (property, casualty, life, health) to fit within the carrier's product portfolio.
- Interviewing prospective clients to analyze their current financial situation and coverage gaps.
- Handling policy renewals, updates, and endorsements to maintain customer retention.
- Acting as a liaison between the client and the insurance company, guiding policyholders through the claims process.
- Updating and maintaining accurate client records in company systems.
Common Job Requirements
- Licensing: State-required insurance licenses.
- Sales Focus: Strong desire to meet or exceed monthly/annual sales quotas set by the parent company.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills to build long-term relationships and handle client inquiries.
