Requirements

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical
  • 2,500 hours total time, including 1,500 helicopter hours, 500 hours turbine
  • High school diploma (college degree preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles
  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions
  • Appropriate Aircraft type rating and currency

Responsibilities

  • Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations
  • Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions
  • Perform the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the twelve-five standard security program or private charter standard security program as applicable
  • Conduct required passenger safety briefings or assign that duty to the second in command
  • Actively support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation’s commitment to a secure environment
  • Record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur
  • Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures
  • Represent Jet Aviation professionally, showcasing dedication to delivering exceptional service

Work Environment

  • Perform tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching
  • Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting
  • Maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths
  • Operate in environments ranging from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces
  • Experience dynamic atmospheres including aircraft arrivals and departures, occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes
  • Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings
  • Travel globally, delivering exceptional service and representing Jet Aviation’s commitment to excellence

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
