About the role

The role involves performing highly advanced consultative services and functional assistance work related to supporting the CAPPS Program. The primary focus is on the CAPPS Asset Management (AM) module.

Responsibilities

  • Performing highly advanced consultative services and functional assistance work related to supporting the CAPPS Program.
  • Supporting the CAPPS Program through functional CAPPS Asset Management (AM) module subject matter expertise.
  • Ensuring compliance with State of Texas policies and regulations.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and adherence to policies.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the system's efficiency and security.
  • Ensuring all digital products and content adhere to WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Asset Management (AM) module.
  • 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft technical tools, including App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects.
  • 10+ years of experience performing PeopleSoft system configuration, administration, and functional support.
  • 10+ years of knowledge of State of Texas policies applicable to statewide ERP implementations.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting CAPPS Financials in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
  • 8+ years of experience with Run My Jobs (RMJ), PUM, Fluid UI, and Elastic Search.
  • 8+ years of experience in Texas State Government/Public Sector, supporting large statewide ERP environments (30+ agencies).
  • 8+ years of experience in ERP functional project management, strategic roadmap planning, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
  • 8+ years of experience providing Tier 2 production support, major incident coordination, disaster recovery, audits, executive reporting, and fiscal year processing.
  • 8+ years of experience developing requirements, analysis, design, testing, and implementation for statewide systems such as CAPPS, TINS, SPA, and USAS.
  • 6+ years of experience managing Priority 1 & Priority 2 incidents using Major Incident Management (MIM) processes.
  • 6+ years of experience interpreting vendor contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • 6+ years of experience preparing WCAG 2.1-compliant documentation and materials.
  • 5+ years of experience with the CAPPS Financials Purchasing module.
  • 3+ years of knowledge of ITIL principles, IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM).

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
