Capping 2nd Shift ($23.40-$24.00 with Shift Differential)
Job Overview
This position requires testing the core, applying epoxy, and insulating the core with caps and strips. Caps are secured to the top and bottom of the core, and strips are attached to the ID and OD of the core using tape. Work is performed in a climate‑controlled facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure work practices comply with OSHA standards.
- Perform operations efficiently.
- Follow all safety and work rules.
- Complete required operator preventive maintenance (PMs).
- Execute 5S requirements and keep the department clean.
- Verify correct materials are used per design requirements.
- Assure all products meet the highest quality standards.
- Use hand tools as needed.
- Measure dimensions using tape measures and understand both standard and metric measuring devices.
- Record operational data on specified forms or computer software.
- Operate a hoist properly and safely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read, use, and understand measuring devices.
- Capability to stand for extensive periods of time.
- Punctual, reliable, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Pay
Competitive wages with a 20% shift differential for the 2nd shift. Overtime is required.
