Capital Project Manager
We're seeking a Capital Project Manager to support capital project execution at a major life sciences manufacturing site near Baltimore, MD. This role will support facility and manufacturing-related projects from scope development through design, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout. The opportunity is an onsite role (4–5 days per week) structured as a contract assignment with permanent conversion targeted within the first 3–6 months, based on performance and client needs.

Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables
- Coordinate stakeholder communication and design activities
- Provide construction support and project reporting
Requirements
- Experience managing capital projects in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical manufacturing, food/beverage, specialty chemical, or other regulated/industrial manufacturing environments
- Facility-side project experience, including coordination with engineering firms, contractors, vendors, operations, maintenance, quality, and site leadership
- Ability to be onsite 4–5 days per week
Qualifications
Experience with GMP facilities, cleanrooms, utilities, small molecule manufacturing, downstream processing, chromatography, spray drying, or large pharma project governance is a plus.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $140,000 – $180,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as work location, qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
