About the role
The Capital Portfolio Project Manager will be responsible for managing and executing projects related to capital portfolio management at Murphy Oil USA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects to ensure successful completion.
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
- Experience in capital portfolio management or similar financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the energy sector.
