Capital Portfolio Project Manager

About the role

The Capital Portfolio Project Manager will be responsible for managing and executing projects related to capital portfolio management at Murphy Oil USA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects to ensure successful completion.
• Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience in capital portfolio management or similar financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the energy sector.
