Capital Planning Senior Analyst

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Learns key business factors impacting capital planning processes.
• Collects, aggregates, and analyzes forecasted financials and supporting documentation from across the Bancorp.
• Develops trend analyses and other quantitative reports to determine business trends.
• Improves design of reports and processes to ensure analytical tools evolve.
• Prepares and analyzes reports for all lines of business and affiliates.
• Investigates and documents unusual items.
• Supports execution of financial analysis and drives business results.
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge base on industry issues.
• Designs solutions to optimize effectiveness/efficiency of enterprise policies/procedures.
• Participates in process improvement and problem resolution initiatives.
• Supports compliance with regulatory guidance on internal control environments for CCAR, CAP, & DFAST.
• Documents financial plans and analysis in a format appropriate for meetings with senior management.
• Attends meetings with peers to stay informed on current and emerging issues and risks.
• Provides training and guidance to less experienced analysts.
• Allocates work and reviews work of less experienced staff.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP strongly desired.
• Minimum of seven years of accounting or finance related experience in industry or public accounting.
• Breadth of knowledge and experience in all lines of business within Bancorp.
• Proficient with MS-Windows and other related PC applications.
• Possesses the desire and ability to learn mainframe applications and automated data analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performance measurement tools and technology.
• Able to work both individually and as a member of a team.
• Able to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment.
• Sound judgment and logical/critical thought processes.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location.
