Capital Markets Syndicated Loan Services Analyst

Primary Responsibilities

• Manages a complex portfolio of syndicated/participated bank facilities across multiple industries and business lines
• Provides loan servicing support and has direct communication with agent banks, lenders, and business partners
• Reconciles daily funding and payment activity to account for all daily cash transactions
• Calculates and tracks complex interest and fee accruals at various rate levels
• Maintains accuracy of loan accounting system and ensures timely and accurate invoices to clients
• Communicates with internal/external agents regarding issues around specialized facilities
• Manages ongoing balances between the loan system and agent bank
• Resolves loan-related issues such as missing payments, margin changes, and unprocessed draw requests or conversions
• Ensures all lending transactions are booked and managed correctly, minimizing operational risks and losses while ensuring compliance with all bank policies and procedures
• Reads and interprets complex legal credit agreements and related documentation, working with credit, legal, and/or origination teams
• Maintains and updates control reports with applicable comments
• Supports co-workers and collaborates on various special projects or tasks as assigned
• Recommends latest methods to improve departmental procedures

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or one (1) year of related banking work experience

Skills And Competencies

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a high-pressure environment
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Bank systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business: ACBS, AFS Level III, Clearpar, Syndtrak, Notice Manager
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Understanding of operational and payment risk
