Capital Markets Business Analyst

About the role
As a Domain Consultant 2, you will analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities and align them with industry-specific standards and best practices. You will facilitate benchmarking studies, collaborate with technical teams, and document system customizations and configurations. Your role includes conducting in-depth research on third-party products, coordinating solution implementation, and supporting the development and maintenance of SOPs to ensure system stability and performance post-implementation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities and align them with industry-specific standards and best practices.
- Facilitate benchmarking studies, working with stakeholders to align solution performance with industry standards and domain-specific insights.
- Collaborate with technical teams and document system customizations and configurations, drafting standard operating procedures and workflows that align with functional requirements of the relevant sector.
- Conduct in-depth research on third-party products within the domain, providing comparative analysis of features, costs, and scalability.
- Coordinate the implementation of solutions addressing issues during setup and integration, and support in developing and maintaining SOPs to ensure system stability and performance post-implementation.
- Gather business requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business users, developers, and managers.
- Develop use cases, functional specifications, and test cases.
- Ensure test coverage and complete documentation for each software release.
- Handle release weekend support and production support.
Requirements
- Experience with Information Technology.
- Experience in Capital Markets Domain with Data Analysis, Data Mapping, SQL, and Jira.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Ability to create detailed process maps and technical documentation with domain specialization.
- Proactive approach to conducting benchmarking studies and product research.
- Familiarity with system implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Effective collaboration and communication abilities with cross-functional teams.
- Manage projects on a monthly software release cycle with minimal supervision.
- Financial Jira experience and Financial Market Domain knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive travel required.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
