Capacity Planning Volume Specialist

About the role

The Capacity Planning Volume Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Material Planning Team at Yazaki. This position focuses on creating and maintaining bi-annual Capacity Planning Volume (CPV) data, ensuring accurate demand and capacity planning inputs. The role also involves coordinating with suppliers, conducting audits, and documenting supplier confirmations.

Responsibilities

• Supports the creation and maintenance of bi-annual Capacity Planning Volume (CPV) data to ensure accurate demand and capacity planning inputs.
• Ensures Capacity Planning Volume exercises incorporate all finished goods Bill of Material (BOM) content and related requirements.
• Conducts audits and validation activities on CPV data outputs to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support capacity planning initiatives and resolve data discrepancies as needed.
• Supports continuous improvement activities and performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous Purchasing or Buyer experience preferred.
• Understanding of automotive market (2nd tier suppliers, OEMs, etc.).
