About the role
The CanoeHouse Back Servers (Bussers) keep our flagship, fine dining restaurant, CanoeHouse, running smoothly by ensuring that the restaurant is clean and ready for our guests. They move swiftly throughout the dining room, clearing tables when needed and helping out our servers in delivering food and beverages to guests. Training is provided, and from time to time, they're prepared to do some heavy lifting, and when needed, they provide our guests with hospitality that will make their day just a little bit brighter. A successful candidate will work well in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment and provide consistent, luxury guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the restaurant is clean and ready for guests
- Clear tables swiftly and efficiently
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests
- Perform heavy lifting as needed
- Provide exceptional hospitality to enhance guest experiences
Requirements
- High school education preferred
- One year of public contact experience
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance and Food Handler Certificate required
- CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred
- Previous back server experience in a fine dining/luxury setting is preferred
- Positive attitude, polite, outgoing, and eager to learn
Pay
$16.00 hourly
