Cannabis Lab Manager

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Production - Oversees weekly production schedule, ensures efficient use of work area, tracks consumable usage, and assists in maintaining equipment.
• Ensures quality in extraction products and emphasizes safety in all laboratory activities.
• Assists in interviewing for prospective employees and supervises, trains, and motivates crew members.
• Account Operations - Coordinates with Driver Manager and Security on incoming and outgoing materials.
• Human Resources and Employee Matters - Handles employee payroll, coordinates hiring, firing, and administrative tasks, and manages onboarding.
• Quality Control - Coordinates pesticide testing, oversees analytical testing, and completes project productions based on inventory and sales projections.
• Traceability and Data Tracking - Oversees the tracking and records of all biomass and concentrate products.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree, 2-5 years of administrative experience with increasing responsibility, advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Physical Abilities: Regularly sit or stand for long periods, occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, taste or smell, clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses, and differentiate between colors (no color blindness).
• Mental & Other Skills/Abilities: Adaptability, analytical ability, computer/technical ability, dependability, interpersonal skills, judgment, language ability, mathematical ability, motor coordination, problem solving ability, quality management, reasoning ability, workplace environmental conditions.

Pay

The pay for this role is salaried at $50k to $70k per year DOE.

Schedule

Consistent schedules week-to-week to maintain work/life balance. Additional 40 hours of PTO after six months of employment.
