About the Role

The Canister Maker role at the Cedar Rapids, Iowa location supports the Production team by driving and improving plant performance. You will perform various functions, including:

• Running tube winder and bottom capper and checking fill weights on the tube line safely and efficiently.
• Performing facility and work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies.
• Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality.
• Recognizing and reporting people safety, food safety, and quality issues.

This is a full-time, permanent role on the Night shift (11 pm to 7 am) with a shift differential included.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience following instructions, process documents, and providing effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing is a plus).
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
