Candlewood MS Girls Basketball Coach

About the role

HHH is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Candlewood MS Girls' Basketball Coach for one of the two middle school teams. We're looking for a coach passionate about developing young athletes, building a positive team culture, and using athletics as a platform for character development.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience in basketball preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of the sport and commitment to continued education
• Ability to develop middle school student-athletes and model positive character, sportsmanship, and leadership

Reports to

Athletic Director

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain a team culture grounded in respect, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Plan and oversee practices, game preparation, and player development
• Teach basketball fundamentals while creating meaningful opportunities for student-athlete growth and participation
• Collaborate with the athletic department and high school basketball program to support program continuity
• Support student-athletes' academic success, leadership, and well-being
• Ensure compliance with district, league, and state policies
• Manage equipment, uniforms, and program logistics
• Maintain positive and professional communication with student-athletes, families, staff, and the school community

Pay

Stipend: $5,838
