Cancer Survivorship Clinical MD Fellow

About the role

You will improve the quality of life for young adult survivors of childhood cancer while working in one of the largest cancer survivorship programs in the world. You will learn to recognize at-risk cancer survivors by performing risk-based clinical evaluations and to deliver evidence-based healthcare to survivors of childhood cancer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform risk-based clinical evaluations to identify at-risk cancer survivors
  • Deliver evidence-based healthcare to survivors of childhood cancer
  • Participate in formalized mentoring on outcomes research methodology
  • Collaborate with fellows across multiple pediatric subspecialties

Requirements

  • Medicine/pediatrics training with completion of fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology
  • Exceptional applicants trained in general pediatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine are also encouraged to apply
  • International applicants must be ECFMG certified

Pay

The fellowship has the potential to be extended for an additional year upon request.

Schedule

A fellowship can begin at any time, but a July 1-June 30 schedule is preferred.
