Cancer Registrar
About the role
Saint Luke's is looking for a Cancer Registrar who performs case finding, abstracting, data management, follow-up, and related registry services for a coordinated network of multi-facility Cancer Registry databases. You will efficiently operate the registry software system, help design and develop cancer management and outcome studies, and perform other Cancer Registry job-related services and tasks as assigned. Responsibilities
- Perform case finding, abstracting, and data management for Cancer Registry databases
- Operate registry software systems efficiently
- Design and develop cancer management and outcome studies
- Perform follow-up and related registry services
- Complete other Cancer Registry job-related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification or obtain ODS within 3 years of hire
- Associate Degree in Health Information Technology or related field
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends
- Fully remote
- Day shift
