Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise: Prepare and set up the receiving area, and unload general merchandise trailers, including any remaining goods.
• Safely handle and move merchandise: Follow cold-chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products, and transport merchandise pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Support stocking and customer service: Assist with stocking the sales floor as directed and provide customer service when needed to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Organize overstock: Label and store excess merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment: Follow company guidelines and procedures to keep the workplace safe, clean, and free of obstacles, including completing safety sweep logs and securing displays.
• Work flexible shifts: Be available to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure smooth store operations and consistent, high-quality customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting merchandise, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 9 kg (20 lb) and occasionally up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Carry out repetitive tasks like restocking, zoning, and organizing products, with a focus on detail and consistency to maintain store standards.

Pay

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.75 per hour.
