Campus Stewardship-HVAC Technician

About the role

This position reports to the university’s HVAC supervisor and involves comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC and mechanical equipment in all university buildings. The technician will also monitor, troubleshoot and repair control systems and provide customer training on the safe operation of HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and install HVAC and mechanical equipment in all university buildings
• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair HVAC control systems
• Provide customer training on the safe operation of HVAC equipment
• Respond to on-call/after-hours emergencies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing and repairing commercial HVAC systems
• Valid MO driver’s license
• Background check required

Qualifications

• Experience with VRF, DOAS, Boiler and Chiller systems preferred
• Experience in HVAC controls and software systems preferred
• Must be dependable, detail oriented, self-motivating, possess excellent customer service skills

Regular work hours 8 am–4:30 pm. Technician will respond to on-call/after-hours emergencies with flex-time provided.
