Campus Security Manager

About the role

This job manages a shift and/or segment of guarding operations at multiple sites, supervising subordinate officers and supervisory staff. It involves ensuring high quality service delivery, meeting service expectations, and maintaining a positive, professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subordinate officers and supervisory staff
• Evaluate service quality and initiate corrective action as necessary
• Meet with line management and/or client representatives for status updates and problem resolution
• Coordinate with line management on staff orientation, training, development, and retention
• Maintain and submit payroll records and other employee/business information
• Review client and company reports for accuracy and timeliness
• Communicate and coordinate with line management on scheduling, staffing, equipment, and record keeping
• Provide input to company initiatives and assist in resolving legal, financial, human resources, and administrative issues

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old, have a reliable means of communication and transportation, and possess a High School Diploma or GED. They should also have 1 year of experience in security operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
