Responsibilities

  • Enjoy maintenance and effectively troubleshooting day-to-day issues.
  • This role tracks and completes physical plant services to maintain the building and grounds of the campus communities.
  • Routinely inspect the physical plant and provide routine preventative maintenance within acceptable standards of practice.
  • Routinely coordinate, direct, and document required fire drills and fire drill training.
  • Establish and maintain a schedule of service of equipment and systems.
  • Routinely coordinate, direct, and document required fire drills and fire drill training.
  • Maintain outside yard care, whether performed by facility staff or contract service.
  • Maintain facility to meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Painting inside and outside.
  • Maintain community building to meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise Housekeeping Staff and Maintenance Assistant (if applicable).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Possess the diagnostic and mechanical skills and abilities necessary for accomplishing repairs on systems and buildings.
  • Supervisory skills and experience.
  • Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
  • Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
