About the role
Givens Estates is seeking a Campus Executive Chef to lead their culinary team. This role oversees all culinary operations across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing venues.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all culinary operations across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing venues
- Develop and implement campus-wide menus that meet nutritional standards, therapeutic diet requirements, and resident preferences
- Manage departmental budgets across all areas of culinary
- Establish and enforce performance standards, including personal hygiene, uniform compliance, and adherence to organizational policies
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and resident satisfaction in all service areas
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate culinary staff at all levels
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in multi-unit hospitality culinary services, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Culinary degree preferred
- ServSafe Manager Certification or equivalent required
- Experience with adult learning- including teaching, training, precepting, coaching, etc.
- Demonstrated success in staff leadership, menu planning and compliance with dietary regulations
- Must have valid NC Drive License with clear driving record for use of facility vehicle

Pay
$90,000 - $95,000 per year based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package
