Qualifications

• Master's Degree required
• Pennsylvania Education Specialist I or II certification with a concentration in Secondary School Counseling required
• Previous school counseling experience preferred
• Knowledge of career and technical education is preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, and personal counseling services to BCTC students
• Guide students in career planning and postsecondary opportunities
• Assist with student recruitment, application, enrollment, and outreach activities
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, parents, and sending schools to support student success

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., 10 months (190 days)
• Includes six evening functions annually and two extended faculty meetings per month

Pay

Starting salary is based on experience and the negotiated professional union salary matrix with annual increases.
